Howdy! My name is Jason Lin (林傑森). I received my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station.
I am currently a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Chung Hsing University, Taichung.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information.
My current research mainly focuses on the design of security protocols in Quantum Communication.
So far, I have published several significant results in prestigious journals and international conferences.
In addition to the aforementioned research, I have also worked on real-life cross-disciplinary problems, including:
(1) The study of Business Process Mining algorithms to discover workflow models in IT systems;
(2) The application of data analysis techniques to address practical problems in the cybersecurity field;
(3) The development of Text Mining tools for the automatic understanding of scientific documents.
We are actively looking for self-motivated students to join our group at the Quantum Information and Cybersecurity Laboratory.
Students with a strong background in either mathematics or programming are especially encouraged to apply.
If you are interested in learning more, feel free to visit our lab at Room 922B, Science Building.
